Feed supplement for dwarf rabbits and guinea pigs

Suitable for: Smaller, softer stools, reduced food intake, insufficient hay consumption, and frequent gastrointestinal discomfort.

RodiCare® Dia Tab® provides essential nutrients for the gut, including butyrate and propionic acid. In healthy animals, these substances are naturally produced by the gut microbiota, providing sufficient energy to intestinal mucosal cells and helping to maintain gut balance. Furthermore, RodiCare® Dia Tab® also supplements diets lacking in herbs with digestive-promoting wild herbs and prebiotics (pectin and fructooligosaccharides) to support the healthy development of the gut microbiota.

Caraway and fennel soothe and relax the bowels.

Blueberries, liquorice and blackberry leaves soothe the stomach and intestinal mucosa.

Pectins and fructo-oligosaccharides act as nutrients for the growth of desirable microorganisms in the intestine, helping to maintain healthy gut flora.

Bentonite is a clay mineral with high swelling characteristics and the ability to hold large quantities of water.

Avens and mugwort contain secondary plant substances.

Propionate and butyrate are an important source of energy for intestinal mucosa cells and strengthen the intestinal barrier.

RodiCare® Dia provides the intestine with important nutrients like butyrate and propionate. In healthy animals, these are naturally produced in sufficient quantities by the gut microbiota and serve as an energy source for the cells of the intestinal mucosa. Additionally, they help maintain a balanced intestinal environment.

Furthermore, RodiCare® Dia complements herb-poor diets with digestion-promoting wild herbs and prebiotics (pectins and fructo-oligosaccharides), which support the development of a healthy gut flora.

Blueberries, macerated 45 %, liquorice, macerated 7.5 %, dried and ground carrots, (fennel seeds, caraway seeds, avens) macerated at 3.8 % each, blackberry leaves, macerated 2.3 %, fructo-oligosaccharides 2.1 %, mugwort, macerated 1.8 %, vegetable oils and fats, psyllium husks 0.9 %, pectin 0.9 %, sodium butyrate 0.7 %

Notes
  • Avoid simultaneous oral administration of macrolides.
  • Before feeding, set the adjusting ring with the left-hand edge to the quantity to be administered to avoid an excessive input quantity.
  • Every graduation on the injector scale is 0.5 ml.
  • Under no circumstances should the pet be placed on its back during administration, since it can easily choke in this position.
  • If pets do not consume the product of their own accord, carefully place the injector in the side of the mouth and give small portions that the pet can swallow on its own.
  • Do not use in case of intestinal obstruction.
  • Pets with diarrhoea or constipation must always be taken to a vet, since digestive disorders can have severe consequences.
  • Use within 14 days once opened.
  • Do not store above 25°C.

Feeding recommendation
  • To be given with food or directly into the mouth.
  • • Guinea pigs, dwarf rabbits: 2 x daily (1 ml/kg body weight for 3-5 days)
  • If necessary, the period of use can be extended following consultation with the vet.
  • Do not exceed the recommended feeding quantity due to the high bentonite content.
