RodiCare® Instant is a high-quality, high-fiber, low-calcium powdered complete feed designed for small pets that are temporarily unable to eat solid food on their own. This product is also suitable as a commercial feed for young animals, or as a supplementary feed for weak or stunted young animals that are no longer fully dependent on their mother's milk. This product contains all essential vitamins and minerals, and is rich in Vitamin C, ensuring that animals maintain adequate intake even when fresh food is temporarily unavailable. The high fiber content promotes digestion, and the carefully formulated herbal blend supports digestive function and stimulates appetite.

RodiCare® Instant can also be used as a base feed for other small herbivorous mammals, herbivorous reptiles, and birds, but supplementation should be made according to the specific nutritional needs of each species.

Product Features: Suitable for weak or malnourished animals; promotes digestion; mix with water, form into balls, and allow the animal to eat on its own, or add an appropriate amount of water and feed using a syringe.

Main Ingredients:

  • High-altitude grass meal, soybean hulls, and oat bran, rich in dietary fiber.
  • Multiple herbal ingredients, including fennel seed, peppermint, caraway seed, fenugreek seed, licorice, turmeric, calamus root, and chamomile flower.
  • Supplementing important vitamins (A, B, C, D, K) and trace elements (calcium, copper, iodine, manganese, zinc, selenium).
  • Fructooligosaccharides.

A high crude fibre content from alpine grass meal, soya bean shells and oat bran is the foundation for maintaining the
intestinal flora and promoting intestinal peristalsis.

Pectins and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) selectively promote the desired intestinal flora in the appendix and large intestine
(prebiotics).

Vitamins and minerals prevent nutritional and disease-related deficiencies.

Fenugreek seeds, sweet flag root and curcuma stimulate the appetite and digestive functions.

Camomile leaves, peppermint, fennel, caraway and liquorice supplement the diet with valuable secondary plant substances.

RodiCare® instant is also suitable as a rearing food for orphaned young animals and as a supplementary food for weak, sickly young animals that are no longer exclusively dependent on milk.

Feeding recommendation
  • Mix the powder in warm water in an approximate 1:2 ratio (1 part powder to 2 parts water) until a thick paste is formed. A slightly more liquid or firmer paste can also be mixed if required.
  • Unless otherwise agreed with your vet, pets should be given at least 60-80 ml of mixed paste per kg of body weight spread over 5 to 6 meals per day.
  • Very heavy pets should be fed small portions as often as possible (every 2-3 hours)
  • Depending on the pet’s species, weight, age and health, the required feeding quantity and frequency can vary, thus should be agreed with a vet.
  • Serve the paste in a bowl or on a small spoon. If pets do not consume RodiCare® instant of their own accord, carefully administer small quantities into the side of the mouth using a syringe.
  • During the transition period from liquid to solid food, add a little water to RodiCare instant to form small lumps of dough. As soon as the pet starts eating solid food again, the portion of RodiCare instant is reduced accordingly.
  • Store the paste in a cool place and use within 12 hours. Do not serve the paste chilled.
